Needs and Desires for Daily Inspirations

A disease of separation is a condition that makes us human. The human condition is often unconsciously, sometimes conscious and always with some degree of pain, fear, or loneliness just below the surface.

Every person has a different experience with what this means. A lot like yard sales, one person’s junk can be another person’s treasure. Each person has unique mental perceptual filters. Some are genetic and others are influenced by past life events or circumstances that have never been resolved. We all experience life at different levels, with different mental filters and different levels.

Daily inspirations for me are those inspirational quotes, actions, relationships, and experiences that reflect my current levels of pain and loneliness. They bring me back to and more often maintain a sense of peace, joy, and presence. Since I have experienced a lot of conscious pain since the age of two, it has been difficult to find daily inspirations that are more relevant for me than others. I have found that my need to find daily inspirations drives me to live a different inspiring lifestyle.

To find daily inspirations, I have developed inspirational resources that are used daily in every aspect of my life. There were also times when my consciousness was at its highest. These times required me to get “booster shots”, which are additional inspirational resources to help me return to a state of serenity and comfort. This is where the key is to store and develop daily inspirations in my spiritual and emotionally bank so they are always available and that there are more resources available for when you need them. These are the three main areas I found useful in finding daily inspirations:

INSPIRATIONAL READINGS

Nearly twenty years ago, I had eight daily readers. These daily meditations often include inspirational quotes about life and inspirational sharing of the thought.

Other books are also available that I use to find daily inspiration readings. These books are often a short paragraph to one page. These books feel more personal than professional, experiential than intellectual, and are closer to my life experiences than “preachy” or detached.

To hear the voice of a higher Presence giving support, direction and closeness, I listen to my readings. I also hear their voices in these daily inspirations.

INSPIRATIONAL MUSIC AND MEDITATIONS

Certain types and styles of music and nature sounds have helped me relax and enable me to pay more attention to Presence in others, readings and other life events. My mind is more relaxed when I listen to nature sounds and soft music.

Different days have different music and sounds that I use to find my daily inspirations. Music that I used to meditate daily is still a distraction or disabling. There are also new sounds, music, and verbal meditations I keep adding to my playlist.

Over 20 years, meditation tapes have been a valuable tool in my daily inspirations. These tapes provide verbal instructions for experiencing higher Presence through mental, physical and focusing relaxation. Different levels of pain or necessity respond differently to different recordings.

INSPIRATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

My experience shows that human beings have the highest levels possible of spiritual energy and Presence to inspire them every day. Since I was a child, I have had a spiritual mentor for more than twenty years. I also have the privilege of being a guide for others. When I am struggling with my human illness, I turn to others who are aware of the disease and have practiced inspirational living to help me.

My higher Presence also appears in the form people who appear in my life and respond to my immediate needs when I am unable to reach my spiritual guides. They might not be able to understand but they are the ones who provide the daily inspirations.

There are no coincidences or accidents in my life. My life is arranged exactly how I want it to be. The same goes for others. Each time, the difference is in my ability to hear. This depends on my access to conscious pain.

My spiritual guide is often someone I am not officially responsible for. My acceptance that I have no control over how I perceive the world and my reactions to it is key. A door or window of inspiration opens in my heart and allows me to transcend my humanness and reach a better place.

My level of need is directly proportional my level of conscious discomfort with humanness. My level of spiritual and/or emotional necessity determines the level at which inspirations I require daily. My task is to find levels and levels of inspired Presence that correspond with my daily needs. These are the same challenges we all face and the same opportunities that we share. We have all the daily inspirations that we need.
